HONORARY GUEST PROFESSOR at LKO from 2015-2017
Since the early 1960’s he had been successfully involved with the Education
(both at the undergraduate as well as at the postgraduate levels) and training
of students, junior and senior scientists (both from the developing as well as
from the developed countries) mainly in the field of Physic as applied to
Biomedicine, Dentistry and Materials.
He had around 50 years of experience in Particle
Accelerators and their Applications, Bio-Medical & Radiation Physics and
Biomedical Engineering, etc., acquired in some of the best-known universities
(Cambridge, Heidelberg, London, Melbourne, etc.), institutions (The
Max-Planck-Institute of Nuclear Physics, Heidelberg; Medical Research Council
Cyclotron Unit, Hammersmith Hospital, London; Pakistan Council of Scientific and
Industrial Research, etc.), hospitals (the Hammersmith Hospital, London; Austin
Hospital, Melbourne; University Clinics in Erlangen and in Tuebingen, etc.); and
Industrial Institutions (Brown, Boveri & Cie., Mannheim, Germany; AEG-Research
Institute, Frankfurt/Main,* etc.); around the world .
Due to his special expertise and all-round capabilities in
Instrumentation and large equipment , at most of these institutions, especially
at the Austin Hospital, he was also responsible for advising on the selection
and procurement of major scientific equipment and on the negotiations of the
after-sales service arrangements at the best possible prices and terms and
conditions.
he had around 275 scientific research publications, and
around 150 contributions to the national and international conferences to his
credit- almost all of them in Physics & Technology as applied to Biomedicine,
Dentistry and Material-.Science.
